Share:

Bungie and Lucasfilm are bringing Star Wars-inspired armor and accessories to Destiny 2 as part of Destiny 2: Heresy, Act I, launching on February 4. This collaboration allows players to outfit their Guardians with iconic Star Wars designs, including Stormtrooper armor and other themed items available through the Eververse store.

The announcement came as a surprise reveal during the Destiny 2: Heresy, Act I developer livestream on Twitch. Players can look forward to unique armor sets inspired by different factions from the Star Wars universe. Hunters will get the Covert Rangers set, modeled after Death Troopers. Warlocks will don the Royal Protector set, inspired by the red-cloaked Imperial Guards. Titans will have the Shock Enforcer set, bringing the classic Stormtrooper look to the battlefield.

In addition to armor sets, Bungie is introducing a special Ghost Shell resembling the second Death Star. While lightsabers aren’t part of this release, players can expect a new Sparrow, ship, and a themed finisher to further immerse themselves in the Star Wars aesthetic.

The Star Wars crossover content will be available from day one of Heresy, launching on February 4. Destiny 2 has previously collaborated with franchises such as Fortnite, Mass Effect, Assassin’s Creed, and The Witcher, bringing fan-favorite themes into the game.

Heresy marks the third episode in Destiny 2 and serves as the concluding chapter in the Light and Darkness saga, setting the stage for the next evolution of the Destiny universe.
