Made by Google 2025: What to Expect from the Pixel Launch

Share:

Google is set to unveil its latest Pixel lineup at tomorrow’s Made by Google event, featuring new phones, a smartwatch, and earbuds. The highly anticipated Pixel 10 series will lead the announcements, alongside the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2A.

Pixel 10 Series
This year brings four phones: the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold. The base Pixel 10 may debut with a triple camera system including a 5x telephoto lens, though some leaks suggest trade-offs in main and ultrawide quality. A major upgrade across the range is Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, potentially supporting 25W speeds, paired with new “Pixelsnap” accessories. The standout could be the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, rumored to be the first foldable with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Prices are expected to match the Pixel 9 lineup, starting at $799 and topping out at $1,799, with the Pro XL beginning at $1,199 for 256GB.

Pixel Watch 4
Two sizes — 41mm and 45mm — are expected, with matching colors to the phones. The biggest change is a redesigned side-charging system that may allow faster charging and a new nightstand interface. Prices should remain at $349 for Wi-Fi and $399 for LTE models.

Pixel Buds 2A
Google is also refreshing its budget earbuds, replacing the four-year-old Pixel Buds A-Series. The Buds 2A will likely feature active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and up to seven hours of playback (20 with the case). Expected pricing is around $149 in the US.

Availability
The Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and Pro Fold are tipped to launch August 28th, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel Watch 4, and Buds 2A may follow on October 9th.
