Gemini, an advanced version of the AI chatbot Bard launched last year, has returned with a new and improved mobile app. In addition to enhanced capabilities, it now offers users the option of a paid subscription tier.
Even though Bard showed potential, it had certain constraints. Google tackled this issue by introducing two significant updates to its LLM and has now embraced the future under a new name that represents its advanced technology – Gemini, the potent LLM fueling the chatbot.
The Gemini trio consists of Nano, Pro, and Ultra. The chatbot runs on the Pro variant while the Advanced version of Gemini – Google’s response to ChatGPT Plus is powered by Ultra flavor. However, that isn’t its entirety!
Gemini is now available on mobile! Android users can celebrate because there’s a new Gemini app which provides quick access to the chatbot while out and about. In addition, it effortlessly integrates with Google Assistant so you can trigger Gemini via long-pressing, voice commands or even corner swipes. For iOS users who are feeling left out – hold tight as access to Gemini will soon arrive in the Google app.
By subscribing to the Google One AI Premium Plan for a monthly fee of $19.99, you can gain entry to Gemini Advanced that is enhanced by Ultra 1.0 LLM technology. This provides you with access to more sophisticated functionalities akin to ChatGPT Plus and other advantages such as exclusive innovations from Google and a whopping cloud storage capacity of 2TB.
The Gemini app is now available for download on the Play Store, catering to Android users. iOS enthusiasts will have to wait patiently as we update it in the Google app. Whether you use technology only occasionally or seek its capabilities daily, our range of options unlocks AI’s full potential and improves your everyday life experience.
