According to Yusuf Mehdi from Microsoft, the introduction of the Copilot key marks the most significant change to Windows PC keyboards in almost three decades. Mehdi emphasizes that this key, alongside the Windows key, becomes an integral part of the PC keyboard, seamlessly invoking the Copilot in Windows experience when pressed.
The Copilot key’s debut is set to take place at CES 2024, with keyboards featuring this new addition being showcased. Microsoft assures us that its manufacturing partners are fully supportive of this development, and future Surface computers will also come equipped with the Copilot key.
